Coming up with this list proved to a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. For me the years between 2000 and 2009 proved to be quiet formative in regards to my musical appreciation. This is a list of music that for one reason or another had an impact or effected me . Here’s my twenty.

    Lots of good stuff here. I def. concur with Kid A, Hissing Fauna, All Is Well, Relationship Of Command, Trials of Van, Yankee Hotel, Heartbreaker, and others. I’ll take ( ) of Taak though and Earth is not a Cold Dead Place over the other EITS record. Michigan has proven to have more staying power for me over Illinois, and I love In a Safe Place just wish they had left out some of those tracks with vocals…Jimmy!

    It was tough to choose a Sufjan Steven’s record, but honestly I went with Illinois because it was the my first introduction to his music although I can definitely see your point about Michigan, plus it was the first of his “50 states” project. Sort of the same holds true with Sigur Ros and Takk…
